The garden fence was dilapidated to say the least, with the gate broken off its hinges – nice when you think that’s all that separates us from the bins! But it was a bit of a shock to find out the cost of having a new fence erected. Nevertheless the old fence (and the iron gate that was standing in for part of it!) had to go.
However, the quote we had from Damara Fencing, a local small family business, was very reasonable and we were excited to see Peter and his team turn on on Tuesday ready to work their magic.
The sun shone, the lads grafted and by 4pm they had finished, cleaned and it was as if they were never there – but for the lovely fence that is!
